About Us
Bundteas is both of our family’s legacy to our family and friends and we hope yours now too.
We chose a Bundt cake because that was the most common cake our parents baked. We also thought it would put a smile on both grandmother and Nana’s faces.
Growing up I do not remember a day at Grandmother’s house that she did not have her apron securely around her waist.
I would walk in and immediately know her oven was on and I knew we were in for a treat as my grandmother always had a bowl in front of her, with a spatula in hand, and was always baking.
Soon we would all be together at the table laughing and I would listen to everyone telling stories, while enjoying Grandmother’s treats. I was just 12 years old when grandma left this earth and I think God just needed a baker. My own kids had my wife’s mom that our kids called Nana.
Nana’s love language was food. Nana wanted her family and friends together, she called it “visiting” and anytime Nana cooked or baked we all showed up to visit! Nana made sure that we would be able to carry on her traditions of gathering up family and friends to visit around the table.
